After Pune, investors from Kolhapur decry builder D S Kulkarni

After Pune, the investors from Kolhapur who had invested in various ventures of the Pune-based builder, D S Kulkarni, gathered to file a complaint against him on Sunday . Around 600 investors were present outside Rajarampuri police station to lodge a complaint.

Satyajeet Pawar, a legal professional working on be half of these investors said, “These investors have not received any return on their investment since January 2017.They were waiting to get their dues, but after realising that they have been cheated, they have decided to lodge a complaint against DSK.“

On Friday the investors met superintendent of police Sanjay Mohite. “Following his instructions, we have started registering complaints in Raj arampuri police station,“ Pawar said. “We are insisting on register the complaint under Sections 406 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (Cheating) and 34(common intention) of the IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors Act,“ he said.

B D Killedar, leader of the investors' association from Kolhapur, said, “There are a total of 600 investors from Kolha pur district who had invested in various ventures of DSK including DSK Construction, DSK Enterprises, D S Kulkarni and Brothers, D S Kulkarni and Sons and DSK and Associate. We are planning to lodge individual complaints against DSK.“

He added, “Most of the investors are senior citizens and government should consider this fact and take action against the concerned enter prise and return the dues.“

Sanjay Salunkhe, police inspector in-charge of Rajarampuri police station said, “We have asked all the complainants to give a written complaint with details about their investments and cheating by the concerned company . Based on their complaint we will initiate enquiry and within a week and register a case against the culprits involved in cheating.“
