2 books on Shahu Maharaj released

KOLHAPUR: Two books were released in the city at the Keshavrao Bhosale Natyagruha here on Sunday, as part of Shahu Maharaj's 142nd birth anniversary celebrations.
In the morning, Nationalist Congress Party leader Sharad Pawar released the Hindi translation of noted historian Jaysingrao Pawar's Marathi book "Rajarshi Shahu Chhatrapati: Ek Samajkrantikari Raja".The book has been translated by Padma Patil.
Another book, the third edition of the "Rajarshi Shahu Gourav Granth", edited by Ramesh Jadhav, was released by chief minister Devendra Fadnavis in the afternoon.
