Youths killed in bike accident in Kannur

KANNUR: Two youths were killed after their bike collided with a car parked on a roadside on NH near Taliparamba here around 1.30am on Saturday. The deceased have been identified as Joel Joseph (23) and Jomon Domenic (23), both natives of Cherukunnu in Kannur.
Police suspect that the youths might have lost control of the vehicle due to speeding and crashed into the car from the rear side.In the impact of the collision, the car moved approximately 10ft forward and overturned into a drain while the pillion driver of the bike was thrown around 25 ft away. The youth who rode the bike was found near the vehicle. Both died on the spot, police said.
