WB guv presents award to Leelavathy

Kochi: West Bengal governor C V Ananda Bose presented the Governor’s Award for Excellence to writer and literary critic M Leelavathy at her home in Thrikkakara on Thursday. The award, which includes a plaque, Rs 50,000 and certificate, is set up as part of Mission Kalakranthi initiative of Raj Bhavan, West Bengal.
The award was presented at her home considering the inconvenience for Leelavathy to reach West Bengal.The governor arrived at her house around 4pm and spent around 30 minutes. She gifted him some books.
