KOCHI: Three people, including an
Assam native, were killed in separate accidents in the district on Wednesday and Thursday.
In the first incident,
Thomas John
(21), son of Benny John from
Perumpilly
near Mulanthuruthy, was killed after the two-wheeler he was riding collided with an autorickshaw around 8.30pm on the Nadakkavu-Mulanthuruthy Road on Wednesday.
The accident occurred when Thomas was on his way to a petrol bunk along with friend Joyce John. Thomas leaves behind mother Suma and sister Ammu Elizabeth.
In the second mishap, a 24-year-old youth, hailing from Vengola, succumbed to injuries he had sustained in an accident on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Mithun Wilson (24). The police said that Mithun was seriously injured after his two-wheeler collided with another motorcycle at Vengola around 8pm on Wednesday.
In yet another accident,
Thakali
(24), a native of Assam, was killed in accident at Marampallikunnu near Perumbavoor on Thursday morning. The police said that Thakali died after a truck he was travelling collided with another vehicle. tnn
