‘Threat’ from Sobha: BJP leader files plaint

Kottayam: The ‘cash for votes' complaint against BJP candidate in Palakkad Sobha Surendran took a turn when a woman BJP leader from Alappuzha filed a complaint with district police chief that she was threatened by Sobha over the phone. It was BJP leader Bindu Vinayakumar who gave the complaint along with the details of the WhatsApp call records. According to the complainant, Sobha threatened her alleging she was behind the woman who allegedly distributed money in Palakkad. The threats included statements like "I will show you, I will break your jaw," and other intimidating words. Sobha also said that the woman came to Palakkad in an Alappuzha registration car. She also allegedly threatened to take Bindu to court.
