Sudhakaran has betrayed CPM: Saji Cherian

Kottayam: Culture minister Saji Cherian said that G Sudhakaran betrayed the party and that nothing significant would happen if he contests in Ambalappuzha as an independent candidate."CPM has not betrayed Sudhakaran in any way. He has no right to say anything against the party. Whether one worked for 63 years or just six days, if they don't need communist party, they should stop working and go home. It was necessary to express opinions from within the party," said Cherian."The party would respond to Sudhakaran's statements against the leadership. If he wishes to contest, let him contest. He must clarify who the political criminals he mentioned," said Cherian. "As V S Achuthanandan said, the party will continue straight without any deviation. There won't be any decline," he said. He announced his independent candidacy anticipating UDF support. No one will leave the party with him. The party will inform the public of its policies," said Salam."Sudhakaran himself taught how to deal with such matters and the same approach will be used here. The party took action against the person who insulted his father. I was the first to visit him in the hospital when he was injured. Due to other commitments, I could not visit Sudhakaran's house with district committee members," said Salam.Party had identified his disease CPM Alappuzha district secretary R Nazar stated that they identified Sudhakaran's "disease" earlier.
