THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The cabinet on Wednesday decided to launch a probe against civil servant Raju Narayana Swamy who criticized chief secretary E K Bharatbhushan in a letter leaked to the media.
The cabinet has asked additional chief secretary K M Abraham to submit a report on the issue. It expressed concern over the manner in which Raju Narayana Swamy leaked the letter to the media.

Chandy reportedly said that instead of giving a written complaint against the chief secretary to the IAS officer association, Swamy could have given the complaint directly to him.
Raju Narayana Swamy, in his complaint to the IAS Association, alleged that Bharatbhushan had mentally tortured him for not abiding to his request to help the illegal resorts operating in Munnar during the 2007 demolition drive.
