The students of Rajagiri College of Social Sciences had umpteen reasons to rejoice, when Splendore 2k16, an inter-school and inter-collegiate fest was conducted in the campus recently. The event, which was held over two days, was a potpourri of talents and finesse.
Splendore 2k16, which is in its second edition, kicked off with the competitions for school kids on the first day, and it became an amazing platform to showcase their skills.

Around 150 students from 22 colleges across the State put forth their best efforts to showcase their skills and get hold of the prizes. Abel Isaac, a third year student of Bachelor of Social Work from the college, is elated that their hard work of about two months to put it up has finally paid off.
George Sherwin D’Cruz, a student of the college says that the competitions for school students included mock press, spellbee, syncro dance and treasure hunt, among others. For the young bunch from colleges, there were an array of programmes such as mime, theme dance, treasure hunt and basketball tournament.
From a city-level competition, this year, the bar was raised by students as a State-level contest. The organisers say that they have plans to take it forward and moot programmes for students across the country next year.
