Snakebite incident: Boy’s condition improves

Thrissur: The condition of Anosh Siljo, who was bitten by a snake while sleeping at his home at Kodaly, has shown significant clinical improvement.According to a medical bulletin issued by Apollo Aldux Hospital in Angamaly, where Anosh is undergoing treatment, the 10-year-old has been weaned off from the ventilator successfully. His vitals as well as breathing pattern are stable at present, the bulletin said. Anosh's eight-year-old brother Aljo had died on Sunday after he was also bitten by the same common krait while sleeping at their home. Meanwhile, another snake was spotted in their house on Wednesday, and locals killed it.
