R Bindu to inaugurate new facilities at Cochin University of Science and Technology and Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit

Kochi: Higher education minister R Bindu will inaugurate a series of infrastructure and academic initiatives at Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) and Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit (SSUS) on Saturday.At Cusat, the minister will inaugurate the additional block constructed near School of Legal Studies and a newly added floor at department of instrumentation building. She will also lay the foundation stone for new hostel facilities for women and international students at the university's Thrikkakara campus. Later in the day, at SSUS, the minister will inaugurate an amenity centre built using plan funds and an amphitheatre constructed with CSR support from Cochin International Airport Ltd. She will also inaugurate an art gallery and exhibition centre and Integrated Teacher Education Programme will be launched at the university.
