Open mic event provides creative platform for young artists

Kochi: An open mic event, which saw significant participation from several art enthusiasts and youngsters, was held at Kunnara Park, Vyttila, on Saturday. The event, which was organised by corporation's 46th division committee and Student Empowerment Foundation, served as a creative platform for young artists.Malayalam translator and writer Sunil Njaliath, inaugurated the event. Screenwriter Rajesh Thillankeri, who won awards at international film festivals, was honoured at the ceremony.
Councillor V P Chandran presided over the event. Speakers included Student Empowerment Foundation internship director Minimohan and SEF founder Ashith Raj.
