MVD makes short film on road safety awareness

KOCHI: A short film titled ‘Vidarum Munpe’, made by the motor vehicles department (MVD) will be released on the occasion of the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims on Sunday. Directed by Binoy Pattimattom, the 22 minute-long film will be released by justice Ziyad Rahman.

The film was made considering the magnitude of the problem of road accidents and to highlight the fact that it is the carelessness of parents and elders that often leads to accidents involving children. Almost all the actors are MVD officials. Motor vehicle inspector Deepu N K penned the story and the dialogue. The shooting of the film was completed at Perumbavoor and nearby areas.
