Man arrested for flashing 2 women at Tripunithura

Kochi: A 49-year-old man was arrested for flashing women at Tripunithura on Thursday.The arrested person has been identified as Gopalakrishnan of Udayamperoor. The accused was arrested by a team of Hill Palace police. According to police, the accused had flashed at two women who were walking along the Andhakara thodu. The women were on their way to work when the accused committed the crime. The accused also verbally abused those who questioned his act.A team led by inspector Sameesh P H made the arrest. Sub-inspector Reshma V R, Rajeev Nath, ASI Najeeb et al were part of the team.Man held for attacking hospital security guardKochi: Kothamangalam police arrested a 43-year-old man for allegedly assaulting a security guard at a taluk hospital here.Sreenivasan of Aayakkad is the arrested. The case pertains to the incident which happened on Wednesday evening.According to police, the accused came to the hospital around 4pm along with a patient. He attacked the security guard, Krishnankutty, alleging that he didn’t bring a wheelchair for the patient on time. The victim sustained injuries and was recuperating at the hospital. The accused was arrested by a team led by inspector P T Bijo.
