KWA to regulate water supply at Maradu

Tripunithura: As the issue of water shortage remains unresolved in several places at Maradu municipality, especially in wards 1, 33, 23 and 29, and at Valanthakadu Island, Kerala water authority (KWA) has said they will be regulating valve operation so that residents in the municipality get adequate water. On Tuesday, the valve through which drinking water is pumped to northern side of NH 85 — Kannaadikadu and Thururuthy area — will be closed and water will be supplied to the remaining parts. On Thursday, water supply to southern side of NH 85 — Maradu Kottaaram and Kettezhuthumkadavu area — will be closed.
