Kochi Metro announces Women’s Day offers

Kochi: Kochi Metro Rail Ltd (KMRL) has announced exclusive offers for women commuters on Sunday as part of Women's Day celebrations. Parking will be entirely free for women at Vadakkekotta station's fully automated multi-level car parking (MLCP) from 8am to 8pm.Additionally, women refuelling their vehicles at Kalamassery Metro fuel station will receive a complimentary bottle of water and chocolates. The Vadakkekotta facility stands as the city's first automated MLCP available to the public. Designed to address the growing demand for parking while strengthening last-mile connectivity, this nine-story structure can accommodate 100 cars simultaneously. Drivers simply need to park their vehicle in a designated bay; the automated system handles the rest, eliminating the stress of searching for spots or navigating tight spaces. On normal days, the parking rates start at Rs 15 for the first two hours. The facility will be available during the Metro service hours.
