City doctor honoured for work with TB patients
Kochi: Sunrise Hospital cardiothoracic surgeon Dr Nasser Yusuf was conferred with Dr SN Tripathy Memorial Oration Award for his exemplary dedication and notable contribution in the field of tuberculosis and chest diseases in India at the 79th National Conference of Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases (NATCON 2024). His lecture was on ‘Tuberculosis – The Phoenix of Thoracic Surgery'.Dr Yusuf is the first thoracic surgeon from Kerala to receive this honour. tnn
