Kerala: Police seek relatives of man burnt to death

KOCHI: The Cheranalloor police issued a notice on Tuesday to identify the concerned relatives of man, a native of Telangana, who died in a fire accident on 2 February at Edakunnam. The deceased was identified as Rao Veera Babu, 32-year-old, a native of New Hafeez Pet, Aduthya Nagar, Lingampalli in Telangana.
According to the police, Babu was working as a plumber at Edakunnam in Cheranallor.

"On 1 February evening, he was accidentally caught by fire while cooking food. He suffered around 90% burns and later died in hospital on 2 February. Though we tried to contact the address provided in his ID card, there was no response," said the police.
His body is currently kept in mortuary at the Kalamassery Medical College and the cops are waiting for his relatives for post-mortem formalities. Any information received about the above person could be informed at Cheranalloor police station (0484-2430227) or SI Cheranalloor (9497980400).
