KOCHI: Staff of the Kerala high court on Thursday gave a farewell to chief justice Hrishikesh Roy, who has been elevated as a judge of the Supreme Court.
The farewell programme was conducted under the auspices of Samanwaya, the arts and cultural organization of high court staff, in association with various service organizations.
Registrar general of the high court addressed the gathering on behalf of the staff and the chief justice spoke at the occasion and bid farewell to the staff.
It was on Wednesday that the President issued the order elevating the Kerala chief justice to the apex court.
The farewell was organized under the leadership of Samanwaya president K Rajan, coordinator Safwan, C Suresh, Hassainar, Martin Joseph, TG Anil, Santhosh, Sudheesh, and Rajan Padmanabhan.
