First in The Artist and The Maker series, the collection includes various items like tableware, cushions and garments, with vibrant graffiti and motifs. Fabindia is known for its nationwide chain of stores that showcases India's finest weaves, fabrics and craft techniques.
"The idea is to reach youngsters. We want to show that Fabindia has products for all age groups and is accessible to everyone and thus bring art into mainstream," said Archana Nandal, market region head, Kerala, Gujarat and Goa, on Saturday. She added that works of Trishla Jain were digitally transferred on various items, including garments.
The Artist And The Maker series, which is part of Fabindia's year-long initiative, introduces an exciting line of contemporary living products based on the work of artists. Other items in the limited edition collection include table runners, notepads, mouse pads, stationeries, bookshelf, bed sheets, lamps and tablesand chairs with digital prints apart from curtains and mirrors.
