KOCHI: A series of severe landslides hit Mundakkai in Wayanad, Kerala, in the early hours of July 30, transforming the area into a scene of devastation. The natural disaster, triggered by heavy rains, claimed at least 318 lives, with nearly 300 people still unaccounted for.



Heavy rains caused the landslides, which wiped out homes and dreams. Those who survived are now faced with the harsh reality of finding basic necessities like shelter and food.
