Film & serial actor Kailas Nath dies

Kochi: Film and serial actor Kailas Nath, 65, passed away in Kochi on Thursday. He was under treatment for non-alcoholic liver cirrhosis for the past couple of years. ‘Pillai Chettan’ in a TV serial named ‘Santhwanam’ was one of the popular characters played by Nath.TV actors in Malayalam had started a campaign to financially support Nath for his treatment. Many actors, including Seema G Nair, condoled the death of Nath. The funeral will be held on Friday.
