Ernakulam natives robbed on Pune-Kanyakumari Express
Kochi: Two Ernakulam natives were robbed aboard Pune-Kanyakumari Express while coming back to the district. Shanu Saju and his sister, hailing from Puthrncruz, were robbed of things worth Rs 80,000 while travelling on an AC coach.A laptop, a tab, a power bank, a hard disk and cash were stolen by unidentified people. A credit card, a debit card and a driving licence were also lost in the robbery. They boarded the train from Pune on April 3. The robbery is suspected to have taken place later as they realised it when the train reached Solapur railway station. When the duo reached Ernakulam, they filed a complaint with railway police. The case will be handed over to Maharashtra police since the robbery took place there.
