CPM P’thitta unit seeks probe

Kottayam: The CPM Pathanamthitta district committee has demanded a comprehensive probe into the death of ADM Naveen Babu. District secretary K P Udayabhanu said the CPM is observing the developments with utmost seriousness and a proper investigation would be conducted into the incident. Naveen's family had maintained a close relationship with the party.Meanwhile, CPM Konni area committee member and CITU state committee member Malayalappuzha Mohanan said that the CPM in Malayalappuzha does not give any value to the allegations raised by Kannur district panchayat president P P Divya. He has demanded an investigation against Divya and has informed this to the party leadership, stating that he would file a private petition if the party does not probe. He alleged that Divya has a hidden agenda.Pathanamthitta MP Anto Antony, who visited Naveen's house, said that the people's representatives in Pathanamthitta were happy to know that Naveen was returning to the district as the ADM.
