Pinarayi Vijayan visited relief camps at Lajanathul Muhammadiya School near Alappuzha collectorate .
The inmates of relief camps told they CM that they have lost their land, house and cattles." Though water will completely receded from our regi-on, we will not have anything there. Please help us. We don't have any idea where we should go once this camps are dismantled.

Chief minister told them that the government would give all the protection.We will help you to regain all, he said.
Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan arrived at police parade ground near Alappuzha beach at 10.20 am and then went to the relief camp at Lajanathul Muhammadiya School near Alappuzha collectorate. The CM also interacted with a girl whose home was completely submerged in flood waters at Pulinkunnu at Kuttanad.
The CM said that all the collapsed houses will be reconstructed and importance will be given to cleaning houses which were submerged.The CM asked the inmates of the camps that they had any complaints in the camps. However, the inmates told him they are completely happy in the camp. When the inmates told them they had lost many of their valuable documents in the flood, the minister ensured them that the government would give all those documents to them.
There are 699 camps in Alappuzha district and 308628 members of 83593 families staying in these camps. Over 57 gruel centres are functioning for* 11704 people of 3103 families. Kuttanad , the below sea level place of Alappuzha, is still under water.
Vijayan is visiting relief camps in Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Ernakulam and Thrissur.
