Chavara Centre golden jubilee events end on Sat

Kochi: Curtains will come down on the golden jubilee celebrations of Chavara Cultural Centre on Saturday. West Bengal governor C V Ananda Bose will inaugurate the valedictory meeting at Ernakulam Town Hall at 3.30pm.
CMI prior general Fr Thomas Chathamparambil will preside over the function. The governor will release the golden jubilee souvenir. Industries minister P Rajeeve will deliver the keynote address.Hibi Eden, MP, mayor M Anilkumar, T J Vinod, MLA , writer M K Sanoo, etc. will attend.
John Paul Memorial Screenplay Award will be presented to Ratheesh Poduval, screenwriter of the movie Enna Thaan Kesu Kodu. tnn
