Investor education programmes will be conducted in Kerala by the BSE experts to protect the investors from fraudsters, the release said. According to sources it is the first time that a Kerala CM is visiting the BSE which is one of the oldest stock trading houses in the world.
Later, participating in a debate organised as part of the India Economic Summit in Mumbai, Chandy claimed that loss of working days owing to labour unrest was fast dwindling in Kerala. Unhealthy trends like 'nokkukooli' had been thwarted in several parts of the state, with the help of trade unions including those from the Left.

He said this during his talks with the Kerala CM on the sidelines of the India Economic Summit in Mumbai. The CM also held discussions with a dozen top CEOs who are attending the summit.
