Blasters to play 3 friendlies in UAE

Kochi: Kerala Blasters will travel to UAE as part of their pre-season campaign next month. The team will take part in an eleven-day training camp from September 5 to September 16. Apart from the training camp, the team will play three friendlies against UAE Pro-League clubs Al Wasl FC, Sharjah FC and the last year's ProLeague Champions Al-Ahli.
Blasters will face Al Wasl FC on September 9 at Zabeel Stadium and Sharjah FC at Sharjah Football Stadium on September 12. In the final match of the tour, Blasters will take on Shabab Al-Ahli at Shabab Al Ahli Stadium, Al Awir Dubai on September 15.
Kerala in dire straits
Half centuries from Nidhish Rajagopal, Shahrukh Khan and Madhav Prasad helped TNCA XI gain a 126-run lead against Kerala on Day 2 of their Buchi Babu All India Invitation Cricket Tournament at Tirunelveli on Wednesday. At stumps, TNCA were 344 for nine with Nidhish top-scoring with 90 .
For Kerala, Fanoos F, Sijomon Joseph, Akhil Scaria and Vinoop Manoharan claimed two wickets each.
