City police commissioner M R Ajith Kumar was immediately alerted about the incident and bike's registration number was handed over to police. A formal complaint was also lodged at Kadavanthra police station in connection with the incident.
Kadavanthra sub inspector Anil George said the accused was arrested from his residence on Sunday morning and his motorcycle was seized. "He was released on bail and the bike will be presented before the court. The complainant has also identified the accused," the inspector said.
