Artists to pay tribute to Namboothiri

Kochi: Artists from different parts of the state will gather at Kochi Metro station in Edappally on Sunday to pay tributes to artist Namboothiri who passed away on July 7.
The event titled ‘Namboothiri Varayadarav’ will be held from 8am to 6 pm at Link Bridge of Edappally Metro Station. vIt is being jointly organized by Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) and Exotic Dreams, an artist collective in the city.
A team of around 25 artists will recreate Namboothiri’s illustrations on a large canvas as part of the programme.
Noted artist DaVinci Suresh will lead the team of artists. The paintings would be exhibited for public at the Metro station. Loknath Behera, managing director of Kochi Metro Rail Limited will inaugurate the exhibition at 4pm.
