Anto Antony to take legal action against CPM leader
Kottayam: Pathanamthitta MP Anto Antony said that he will pursue legal action against CPM former district secretary K P Udayabhanu, who was making baseless allegations against him. The first accusation arose from a picture showing Unnikrishnan Potti, the prime accused in the Sabarimala gold heist case, meeting Sonia Gandhi in Delhi. Once the SIT investigation proved that he had no connection with this, the allegation fell apart, Antony said.Another accusation was that he withdrew Rs 2.5 crore rupees belonging to the Sabarimala tanthri from a private financial institution in Thiruvalla. However, the owner of the institution clarified that there was no such deposit and that he never met the tanthri in person, which also debunked the allegation. Antony criticised the CPM leader for not admitting his mistake while spreading false accusations through Facebook.
