Kochi: In the wake of allegations regarding the PhD admission of former SFI leader
Vidya K, who stands accused of forgery, All India Youth Federation (AIYF), the youth organisation of CPI, passed a resolution against former Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit (SSUS) vice-chancellor Dharmaraj Adat, who was the VC during Vidya’s admission in 2020.
The resolution, presented by SSUS students Kunjimuhammed and Raifan, was passed at the district conference of AIYF in Ernakulam on Sunday.
In the resolution, it was stated that Vidya’s action has brought the state’s higher education sector into disrepute. They sought a detailed investigation and action against Adat, who was allegedly involved in the admission violating SC/ST reservation norms.
