Actor Vineeth held for murder attempt

Thrissur: Film actor Vineeth Thattil David was arrested on Tuesday on charges of attempting to murder Alex, from Thuravoor, in Alapuzha following financial disputes.
Vineeth (42) hacked Alex when the latter came to his house on Sunday, said police. As per police’s information, Vineeth allegedly borrowed Rs 6 lakh from Alex and he repaid Rs 3 lakh. Alex had come to Vineeth’s house demanding the balance amount, when the attack took place.Vineeth was taken into custody on Monday afternoon, but the arrest was recorded on Tuesday. He has been remanded in judicial custody till August 9, said police.
Vineeth is known for his performances in Angamaly Diaries (2017), Ayyappanum Koshiyum (2020) and Thrissur Pooram (2019).tnn
