Actor ‘Munshi’ Venu passes away at 62
THRISSUR: Popular cine artist 'Munshi' Venu (62) passed away at Chalakkudy on Thursday.
Venu, who got popular through the TV show ‘Munshi’, a political satire programme, was undergoing treatment for liver disorder for a while.
Venu, a bachelor and hailing from Thiruvananthapuram, has been living at Divine Retreat Centre,
Dileep-starred ‘Pachakuthira', a film by Kamal, was his debut movie after which he acted in over 50 movies including 'Thilakkam' and 'Chotta Mumbai'.
The body will be kept for public to pay last respects at Muringoor on Saturday after which the funeral rites will be held at Aluva.
