Actor found dead, suicide suspected

Kannur: Actor Hari Murali, who began his career as a child artist in films and television, was found dead at his relative's house in Payyannur on Thursday. He was 27. Police said his body was discovered inside the house in the morning. They suspect suicide, though the exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained. Payyannur police have registered a case under Section 194 of BNSS for unnatural death. A probe is underway and the body has been shifted to a hospital mortuary for autopsy. Born to theatre artist K A Murali and Prasanna, Hari made his film debut at the age of six in the Malayalam film Rasikan (2004). He went on to appear in several commercial films such as Annan Thambi, directed by Anwar Rasheed, as well as Madampi, Don, Pattanathil Bhootham and Ulakham Chuttum Valiban before taking a break from acting to focus on his education. He returned to the screen in 2015 with Amar Akbar Anthony.Suicides are preventable and help is just a phone call away.
