VSSD college student wins in taekwondo

Kanpur: Ayush Mishra of VSSD college won the gold medal in Under 63kgs category on the opening day of inter-college Taekwondo championship being held here at Chris Church Inter college on Saturday. In the title bout he defeated Yuvraj Tyagi of Christ Church college. Utkarsh Bajpai of CSJMU and Himanshu Shukla of DAV college obtained bronze medals. Earlier Prof Ripu Daman Singh regional higher Education Center & Joseph Danial principal of host college inaugurated the event.The results of other category are –U- 54 kgs- Karunendra Verma ( Prachi MV- Gold), Sani Diwakar (DNPGC_ silver ) Abhay Pratap( KSBD) & Mohd Razin Haidar ( Sachetana MV) both bronze.U-68 kgs- Aman Chaurasia ( VSSD DC Gold), Vineet Kumar ( BVPGC – silver), Mustfiz Rahman ( Girja Devi – bronze)U- 74 kgs—Paras Singh -GP Vidhi col- gold), Aditya Rathore (Babu Singh PGC- Silver ), Aman Ali (RBSG) & Gaurav ( Prachi) both Bronze Over 87 KGs- Vikrant (CSJMU- Gold), Ishu Mehrotra ( Maharana Pratap- Silver) Rahul Tiwari (Shakti Deg.
