Vendor stabbed in train coach

KANPUR: In a gruesome incident a vendor was stabbed several times by another vendor on grounds of enmity in the general coach of 2566 New Delhi-Bihar bound Sampark Kranti Express near Somna railway station, on Wednesday evening.
The incident has been reported to take place between two groups of illegal vendors in full public view in the general coach (02499) of the Sampark Kranti Express.According to inspector, GRP-Aligarh, Jai Prakash Singh, "the deceased has been identified as Dinesh, an illegal vendor who held enmity with other vendors, Vikas and Shera. The murder took place in the bathroom gallery of the general coach of the Sampark Kranti Express at around 4:30 pm near Somna railway station."
"The two accused after stabbing Dinesh several times, threw the accused in the bathroom and jumped off the moving train. The sudden occurrence of the gruesome incident aroused reactions from the side of the passengers of the coach, who then raised an alarm and pulled the chain", Singh further added.
Jai Prakash Singh further elaborated, "When the train slowed down the passengers rushed after the two and they were nabbed by GRP constables, Sudama Yadav, Raj Karan Yadav and Ashok Rai present in the coach next to the coach number 02499.���
