Unnao: Four killed after SUV rams into truck on Agra-Lucknow Expressway

KANPUR: As many as four people, including three women, were killed while one other sustained serious injuries after the SUV they were travelling in rammed into a container truck on Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Unnao district early on Monday.According to the police, the accident took place near Tonda village under the jurisdiction of Hasanganj Kotwali police.The deceased were identified as Sunita Pandey, Akriti Pandey, Anshika Pandey and Brijesh Dwivedi of Janki nagar in Gonda district. The injured person was identified as Chandra Kamal Pandey.Superintendent of police, Unnao, MP Verma said, "All the victims were returning from Delhi when their Tata Safari vehicle crashed into a container truck. The injured passengers were rushed to Trauma Centre in Lucknow where Sunita Pandey, Akriti Pandey, Anshika Pandey and Brijesh Dwivedi succumbed to their injuries. The condition of their relative Chandra Kamal Pandey was stated to be critical."
