Two persons commit suicide

KANPUR: Two more persons, including an MCA final year student, committed suicide.
Ruchi, a 23-year-old resident of Kidwai Nagar ended her life by hanging herself from the ceiling of her room on Wednesday. Reports stated that Ruchi, who was pursuing her MCA (final year). She was reeling under acute depression since the past few days.
Elsewhere, a 22-year-old newly married woman identified as Rinki, wife of Manoj, a tannery worker residing in Pardevanpurwa under the limits of Chakeri police station committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan in her room.The sent the body for post-mortem examination after conducting the preliminary investigations.
Her husband Manoj was later detain in this connection.
Meanwhile, the body of a 42-year-old man identified as Santosh Gupta, a resident of Saket Nagar, was recovered under mysterious circumstances near Juhi depot in Kidwai Nagar police circle on Wednesday. He was a scrap dealer. Santosh left his house on Tuesday to attend his friend's son birthday celebrations in the area.
The police have not reach to any conclusion. According to police, Gupta's body suffered bore injury marks and the post-mortem report is awaited. There is possibility that he might have been hit by some speeding vehicle.
