Two college students killed in road accident

Kanpur: A road accident claimed the lives of two college students near Aseharu on Dahi-Mohanlal Ganj road in Unnao district on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as Adarsh (16) and Shubhra Pandey (20). The two along with their another friend were returning home from Surya Pratap Degree College. According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred when the loader collided with the motorcycle carrying the three students.
The police rushed all the injured to the CHC, where Adarsh was pronounced dead. Shubhra and their friend Priyanshi were transferred to the district hospital due to their critical condition. Unfortunately, Shubhra succumbed to her injuries during treatment.
Inspector Rakesh Gupta said," We are trying to identify the driver responsible for the accident." tnn
