Superior Spirit Club beat Winners, enters KDMA League final

Kanpur: Jai Prakash Gupta's fine century helped Superior Spirit Club beat Winners Club by 106 runs and enter the final of the KDMA league being played here at Kanpur South ground on Thursday.Superior Spirit, batting first, posted a healthy score of 203 runs. Jai Prakash was their main scorer with 101 runs. In reply, Winners Club collapsed on 97 runs. Piyush Kumar was their highest scorer at 29 runs.SS club, in the second semifinal, outplayed Campus IIT Club by 7 wickets at B ground. Campus IIT, put into bat, could muster only 49 runs. Mridul Raitani caused damage claiming 3 wickets (hat trick) for just 5 runs.
