Kanpur: Rahul’s fine century and Nishkarsh’s six wicket haul helped Sporting Union beat Reserve Bank of India by 132 runs in the KDMA league match held at the Everest ground in Jajmau here on Tuesday.
Sporting Union, batting first, posted a total of 8 for 135 runs in 40 overs. Rahul scored 136 runs and Amit Mishra of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) bagged 5 wickets for 29 runs.
RBI in reply collapsed on 103 runs. Ranjit Sharma scored the highest 41 runs for his side.
In another match held at the Sapru ground, BCA Club humbled Superior Spirits by 87 runs. BCA, deciding to bat, posted a total of 203 runs and thereafter they restricted Superior Spirits to 116 runs. Yogesh Singh caused the maximum damage claiming 4 wickets for 5 runs.
