KANPUR: State president of Congress Raj Babbar, on Wednesday, said, "Slogan 27 Saal UP Behal dil ki awaaz hai."
Babbar was addressing a public gathering in Unnao in the presence of Congress leader PL Punia, Rajaram Pal, Pramod Tiwari and Annu Tandon. The congress leadership passed through three legislative assemblies in Unnao before reaching Kanpur. Raj Babbar said that Congress was the only party which has worked for the farmers, traders, poor and destitute. He furtther added that if Congress fcomes to power in the state it will waive off the farmers' loan and will also half the electricity bills.
On the Raebareilly-Unnao border, the Congress workers gave a warm welcome to Raj Babbar and other party leaders. During their voyage, the party leaders interacted with the locals of Unnao.
The party workers raised slogans and welcomed the leaders with rose petals. The locals of Unnao were excited to have a glimpse of Raj Babbar and he also did not disappoint them.
