SGST teams raid Shram Shakti Exp

Kanpur: Six teams of SGST conducted a raid on the Shram Shakti Express train in Kanpur and seized 200 items that were being transported to evade taxes.The seized items included hosiery, electronic goods and mobile accessories. The teams, led by joint commissioner were dispatched to Central Station following instructions of additional commissioner Shashank Shekhar Mishra. Officials coordinated with railway officers to inspect SLR and parcel van when train arrived at platform in morning. During inspection, they found over 200 items of hosiery, electronic goods, and mobile accessories being transported without documents. "Penalty will be imposed after physical verification," said additional commissioner. tnn
