Kanpur students shine in JEE Mains results, Priya Mishra top scorer
KANPUR: Several students managed to clear the

As many as 16 students of Virendra Swarup Education Centre, Awadhpuri branch managed to clear JEE Mains. A total of 32 students of Dr Virendra Swarup Education Centre, Kidwai Nagar branch cleared JEE Mains 2017. Samarth Agarwal with 254 marks out of 360 managed to reserve a seat for himself for appearing in JEE Advanced. He was followed by Shreyansh Yadav who got 215 marks and will also be able to write the JEE Advanced. Arnav Dutta, Ujjwal Tripathi, Apoorv Agarwal, Pragati Mishra were some other students of the same school who cleared the JEE Mains with a bang - surpassing the cut-off by a huge difference. Principal, Sharmila Nandi congratulated the students and wished them success in JEE Advanced.
A total of 61 students from BNSD Siksha Niketan cleared JEE Mains. This was a record number of selection. The eligible students would be appearing in JEE Advanced. Principal, Angad Singh congratulated the students. He also made them relish the taste of the sweets. Principal said that Vibhav Katiyar managed to top the school in JEE Mains and secured 203 marks out of 360. Shivam Sengar and Prakhar Omar from the same school got 195 and 192 marks respectively.
Students of Heliger Borden school also managed to clear JEE Mains. Amongst the successful students were Vivek Pal who got 245 marks in JEE Mains out of 360. Shikhar Singh and Manjeet had secured 242 and 241 marks respectively. They were followed by Shivam Paliwal who got 239 marks. Mahesh Chauhan of Heliger Borden school congratulated the students. Chauhan who runs a batch named B-25 for underprivileged students informed that all the 35 students of the batch cleared JEE Mains.
JEE Mains
the results of which were declared by CBSE on late Thursday afternoon. These students will now get a chance to appear in JEE Advanced scheduled to be held on May 21. Students cracking JEE Advanced would qualify for admission to premier IITs. The top 2.20 lakh students having cleared the JEE Mains are eligible for appearing in the JEE Advanced 2017. secured 305 marks in JEE Mains out of 360 and qualified for JEE Advanced. Priya got 264 AIR. She is a 12th appearing student and waiting for class XII board results.Utkarsh Singh of

secured 282 marks and got 742 AIR. He had cleared his class XII last year and now looks forward to crack JEE Advanced to get admission in IIT-Delhi for pursuing BTech.
