Security guard of brick factory found murdered

Kanpur: A 60-year-old security guard of the interlocking bricks factory located at Service Road of Birhana crossing of Sikandra town of Kanpur Dehat, was murdered by some unidentified miscreants on Tuesday night.After receiving the information, police reached the spot and started investigation along with the forensic team and dog squad. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for a post-mortem examination.The reason for the murder is yet to be ascertained.The police identified the deceased as Inayat Ali, resident of Sandalpur town of Mangalpur police station area of the district. Ali used to work as a watchman in the interlocking brick manufacturing unit near Birhana crossing in Sikandra.Late night, Inayat Ali's family got information that some people had murdered him with a sharp weapon.Superintendent of Police BBGTS Murthy said the investigations are on in this regard. "The incident occurred in Sikandra town. Investigation is being done with the dog squad. He had injury marks on his head. An axe has also been found on the spot. The reason for the murder is not known. The case is being investigated," the SP further said.
