: The scorching day suddenly turned pleasant in the evening on Saturday. Some areas experienced scattered rainfall. There are chances of rainfall on Sunday also. The maximum temperature recorded stood at 39.6 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature also surged and set at 25.4 degrees. The humidity was between 50% and 88%.
Kalyanpur, Bithoor, Ramadevi and adjoining areas witnessed scattered rainfall.
Some area in south Kanpur also received rain. The cloud cover may cause scattered rainfall in a few areas in next 24 hours, but there would be no respite from sultry weather conditions in the days to come.
The weatherman said that the easterlies are aiding cloud formation. The temperature is likely to remain low on Sunday. Rain may happen but no permanent respite from hot weather is there. People enjoyed the weather to the maximum with a cup of coffee at the terrace garden, a long drive, a stroll on the wet streets or relishing roasted corn on ghats in the evening.
