Property of Irfan Solanki’s aide Shamshuddin attached

Kanpur: The property of , an aide of jailed SP MLA Irfan Solanki, was attached on Thursday.
Shamshuddin, an accused along with Irfan in the arson case involving a woman’s house in Jajmau, is absconding since the incident. The Jajmau police had pasted the notice of attachment at his house recently.
The court had ordered Shamshuddin to appear in the case, but he was defying the order. Thus, on the complaint of Defence Colony resident Nazir Fatima the police had lodged an FIR against SP MLA Irfan Solanki and his associates under relevant sections, including setting the house on fire to grab the plot.
Along with Irfan, Shamshuddin, a resident of Bajaria Kanghi Mohal, was also named as accused in the case. Earlier, a non-bailable warrant was issued against the accused and later the notice of attachment was pasted at his house.
“Today, property of Shamshuddin, accused of setting the house of Nazir Fatima on fire, was attached as he was continuously defying court orders,” said joint commissioner of police Anand Prakash Tiwari.
