KANPUR: The rains on Tuesday afternoon finally brought the temperatures down after hot weather for the last few days. However, the rains increased the humidity levels. The maximum humidity recorded for noon hours on Tuesday was 98 per cent.
Weather scientist of CSA, C B Singh said, "The maximum temperature recorded on Tuesday was 34 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was 27.6 degrees Celsius.

Yet the weather was hot because of easterly winds and high humidity in the atmosphere.''
According to Met department of CSA University, "a sudden rise in the temperature after rains has further developed an anti-cyclonic formation. This would cause heavy rains in a day or two''. Besides, there may be isolated rains in the region on Wednesday.
