Preparations start at Naubasta Galla Mandi for byelection

Kanpur: The District Election Officer and District Magistrate conducted an inspection at Naubasta Galla Mandi on Thursday evening in preparation for the upcoming Sishamau bypolls scheduled for Nov 13.
The executive engineer of the Public Works Department (PWD) has been instructed to ensure timely preparation of a comprehensive blueprint outlining the necessary arrangements to be implemented at Naubasta Galla Mandi.
The Additional District Magistrate (Finance & Revenue) was directed to oversee the completion of all requisite arrangements for the strong room, counting site, and polling party departure venue within the stipulated timeframe.
Furthermore, the District Election Officer issued directives to the Mandi secretary, about maintaining cleanliness within the Mandi campus, repairing dilapidated roads and non-functional road lights, and ensuring the availability of potable water well in advance.
The inspection was attended by Deputy Commissioner of Police Dinesh Tripathi, Additional District Magistrate (Finance & Revenue) Rakesh Kumar, and other officials.
